Corbyn's Cove Beach

This is the most popular and famous beach in Port Blair. Situated at a very close distance from the city centre of Port Blair, this beach is surrounded by coconut and palm trees. The clear blue water and the surrounding landscape offers a majestic view. The beach is popular for swimming, surfing and different water sports activities.

The beach has benches, shacks and restaurant which provide ample opportunity to just sit and enjoy the view of the sea and surroundings. The beach is just a 20-25 minutes drive from any part of Port Blair.

Wandoor Beach

Lies at 25km east of Port Blair, the captivating beauty of this beach has made it popular among locals and tourists. This beach is popular for corals which can be visited on a glass-bottom boat here. The beach happens to be the gateway of Mahatma Gandhi National Marine Park known for its rich marine fauna and splendid corals. There are some natural caves around which can be trekked under the guidance of a local.

Chidiyatapu Beach

It is situated at the southernmost tip of the southern part of Andaman. It is around 30-40 minutes drive from Port Blair by road. Set amidst the backdrop of dense forest, the vast ocean and the surrounding hills, this beautiful beach is the best place to enjoy the visual treat of setting sun over the Andaman sea. Also, this place is a paradise for bird watchers. As the name suggests, Chidiyatapu is the natural home to a wide variety of birds. The island has a biological park. They are working for the conservation of the flora and fauna of the region which is unique and enriched. In this park, some endangered spices of animals are found. This is an ideal place for water sports enthusiasts too. Chidiyatapu beach is an ideal place for the seashell lovers as the beach is full of lovely tinny seashells.

Radhanagar Beach

The world-famous Radhanagar beach or the beach no 7 as it is commonly known as the main attraction of Havelock Island. The beach was named as the best beach of Asia and the 7th best beach in the world by Time magazine in 2004. Later on, several other magazines and travel programs have voted this beach as one of the best in the world. The open stretch full with white sand and endless blue water, the sound of waves kissing the shore and the surrounding greenery; Radha Nagar is a piece of paradise that provides everything to the nature lovers. This beach is very popular and remains crowded most of the year, yet, the vastness and the pristine environment offers the tourists enough scope to cut from the mundane world and completely get lost into the beauty of nature. The beach is ideal for honeymoon couples. Radhanagar beach is also a place where tourists can enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset. Elephant Beach

This is another beautiful beach in Havelock Island. This white sandy beach is surrounded by eye-catching coconut plantations and palm trees. The serene environment here is ideal for the beach lovers to spend time here and to witness the unending waves emerging out of the clear blue water and crashing into the shore. Apart from this, the beach is suitable for swimming also. The water sports activities here are also quite famous. Snorkelling and sea walking here are popular. Elephant Beach is famous for its diverse marine life. The coral reefs here are very famous and attracts tourists all over the world. Elephant Beach is just a half an hour boat ride from havelock jetty.

Kalapathar Beach

The beach offers a breathtaking view to the tourists. This lovely beach is set in the backdrop of blue water and a vast stretch of green trees. This is perfect for those who long for solitude. It is a less crowded beach and hence ideal for relaxation and the environment is very tranquil. Vijaynagar Beach

This is a gem in havelock island. This is also known as beach no 5. The long coastline is ideal for a walk. The crystal clear water and the surrounding coconut trees are a visual treat. This beach is completely free from the cacophony. The environment is very peaceful here. The beach offers a stunning view of sunrise. The beach is never very crowded and ideal for swimming and surfing.

Sitapur Beach

Kalipur Beach

This is the best beach in Diglipur area and one of the most picturesque beaches in North Andaman Island. The beach is located behind the Kalipur village which is easily accessible from the town of Diglipur. The panoramic view of this beach rejuvenates the soul. The lush green surroundings and the presence of a beautiful saddle peak at the backdrop of the clear sea is something straight out of the canvas of a painter. This beach is famous for turtle nesting. Different species such as olive Ridley, green turtles, leatherback come here to nest their eggs. Tourists can witness the scene of baby turtle going towards the sea when hatched out of their egg.
